Sacramento region could see return of rain following days of sunny skies

(FOX40.COM)-- Rain could make its go back to the Sacramento region following days of spring-like weather.

Sunny and warm conditions are expected to continue through Wednesday with temperature levels cooling down before the location has an opportunity of rain at the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

The Sacramento location has a minor opportunity of rain on Friday afternoon with skies forecast to be partially bright and a high near 65 degrees fahrenheit, the NWS stated.

  • When Friday night comes, the NWS said Sacramento will continue to have a slight opportunity of rain with temperatures anticipated to have a low of 51.

    Temperature levels are anticipated to cool down in the 60s throughout the weekend. Saturday's temperatures might reach as high as 64 degrees while Sunday's temperature levels might have a high near 62.

    As Sacramento enters into 60-degree weather condition, the area's chances of showers might continue Saturday and Sunday.

    The NWS said high elevation areas might get snow on Friday with chances of snow showers on Saturday.

    The Sacramento area's temperatures leading up to the weekend are expected to be in the 70s with bright skies.

    Following Monday's heats of 76 degrees, the area's temperatures are anticipated to reach 76 on Tuesday, 72 on Wednesday and 70 on Thursday.
