HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK)-- A line of showers and storms moved through the western portion of SE Texas today bringing heavy rain and lightning. This line broke apart and dissipated prior to making it to
Houston. This afternoon another disturbance will relocate which could bring scattered storms to the area. Isolated strong to severe storms will be a possibility with gusty winds over 60 mph and quarter size hail being the main dangers.
Wednesday is likewise another ozone action day. Ozone is a lung irritant that can trigger asthma attacks in sensitive individuals as it restricts respiratory tracts. Coughing and scratchy throats are other symptoms of ozone direct exposure.
