The police department has charged Michele Rodriguez Salas, 38, and her daughter Clarissa Marifer Salas, 17, with providing alcohol to a minor. Both are currently being held at the Hidalgo County Jail on $1,500 bond each.
On August 17, a pool party at a residence on North Bentsen Road took a devastating turn when Adan fell from a gazebo while attempting to jump into the pool. Witnesses report that he landed headfirst, resulting in severe injuries that led to his death several days later, on August 21.
