In a shocking incident that has left the Loveland community reeling, police have arrested a woman in connection with a man's death, now being treated as a homicide. The Loveland Police Department released details of the situation, which unfolded late Monday night.
Just before 10:30 p.m. on Monday, authorities received a call regarding a physical dispute at a residence located in the 800 block of East 6th Avenue. Reports indicated that one individual was seriously injured during the altercation.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers discovered a man deceased. Following a preliminary investigation, they arrested 32-year-old Heather Cushman, a resident of Loveland. She has been charged with second-degree murder and is currently being held at the Larimer County Jail.
The Larimer County Coroner’s Office is expected to release the identity of the victim along with the official cause of death in the coming days.
