Stanislaus County deputies searching for swimmer who went missing after getting tired

(FOX40.COM) - - The Stanislaus County Constable's Workplace is trying to find a male who went missing on Sunday afternoon while swimming near Mountain View Point at Woodward Tank.

According to officials, the guy and a buddy were swimming across the channel when they both got tired. The man started having a hard time to swim, went underwater, and never resurfaced.

The constable's workplace included that the man went missing out on around 2 p.m. near 14528 26 Mile Road.

" We are doing whatever we can to bring resolution to this unfortunate scenario," the constable's workplace stated." [The] Special Vehicle Operations Unit, UAS drones, [and] fire workers are on the scene searching for the guy. The dive team has actually been triggered and is responding."

The company added that the male who went missing is thought to be around 22 years of ages.
