Suspect shot and killed by Fresno County deputies in Caruthers determined

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (BNN)-- The suspect who was armed with knives and shot and eliminated by Fresno County deputies has actually been identified.
Authorities have identified the man as 59-year-old Daimar Lopez, and the search is now on for his household.
Authorities say it was reported that Lopez was attempting to get trainees to leave their sports practice at the Caruthers Fairgrounds.
After strolling even more down the street, detectives state he got a various knife and attempted to stab a parent who approached him.
They say they tried to get Lopez to drop his knife however he refused when deputies showed up.
Throughout the fight, authorities state the suspect took a large knife out of his back pocket and began to charge at 3 deputies.
3 deputies eventually fired their weapons after trying to use bean bag rounds, striking Lopez multiple times and killing him.
