Suspect shot and killed by Fresno County Sheriff's deputies in Caruthers

FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (BNN)-- A suspect has actually passed away after he was shot by Fresno County Sheriff'& #x 27; s deputies in Caruthers on Tuesday evening.
The shooting occurred at 5:45 pm in the area of Tahoe and Henderson.
Authorities say it was reported that the suspect was trying to tempt trainees away from sports practice at the Caruthers Fairgrounds.
As coaches tried to speak with the guy, private investigators say he pulled out a knife.
After strolling further down the street, detectives state the male secured a different knife and attempted to stab a parent who approached him.
They state they tried to get the man to drop his knife however he refused when deputies got here.

Deputies fired bean bags at the suspect but state they weren'& #x 27; t reliable against him.
Throughout the conflict, officials say the suspect took a large knife out of his back pocket and began to charge at three deputies.
All 3 deputies fired their weapons, striking the guy a minimum of one time.
No deputies were injured.
Tahoe Avenue has actually been closed from Mt. View Avenue to Henderson Road as the investigation continues.
No other details have been launched by authorities at this time.
