AUSTIN (KXAN) - - Deodorant, body wash, shampoo, moisturizer… … these are just some of the products that could include hazardous dyes and chlorines that are not only damaging to our health, but the planet's health too.
Meteorologist Kristen Currie spoke to Mia Abbruzzese, Co-founder and CO-CEO of Attn: Grace, a ladies's health and health company, about to be on the lookout for when it comes to healthy, sustainable products.
Abbruzzese states the secret is to pay attention to where these items are coming from, what's inside them, and where the item goes after. Are the products made from regional components?

Kristen Currie, KXAN News: We are discussing the value of sustainability and being environmentally friendly with females's health and health. Joining me today to talk about that is Mia Abbruzzese – – let's leap into what we're doing and why this is so crucial.
Mia Abbruzzese, Attn: Grace: Sustainability is an essential part of our everyday life now. We now compost in my home, I've taught the kids all about the importance of being and recycling kind to the world.
Currie: Are there specific things that we require to be thinking about as females and simply in basic, when it concerns health and health, and making sure we understand that it's great for us and good for the world?
Abbruzzese: It's so essential that the items that we put against our skin in our bodies are more sustainable, are healthier, and don't contain any of the toxic substances and chemicals that a great deal of the standard products do.
In the products that we make, we've gotten rid of our chlorine bleach. We've gotten rid of all the dyes. And after that we've produced a leading sheet against your skin in our incontinence items that is plant-based, and it's derived from sugarcane waste. It's a lot softer and gentler on your skin.

Abbruzzese: Oh, gosh, yeah, the never list. These are chemicals that the European countries have actually prohibited in their items.
