DENVER (BNN) - - Heavy snow and strong winds swept throughout the Colorado high nation on Sunday, triggering slippery roads and poor presence. Some roads have actually been closed by the Colorado Department of Transportation for safety and other reasons.
CDOT announced Saturday that safety closures were likely to take place through Sunday due to the upcoming storm, particularly along the Interstate 70 corridor.

Roadway closures in Colorado
The following roadways are closed since 1 p.m.
- U.S. Highway 6 at Loveland Pass in both instructions (between mile point 222 and I-70)
