Boulevardia
The
Kansas City celebration will invite almost 70 national, regional and regional acts to perform. Boulevardia will be held at Crown Center from Friday, June 14, through Saturday, June 15.

JuneteenthKC Heritage Festival
On Saturday, the 13th Annual JuneteenthKC Heritage Festival will return to the 18th & & Vine Historic Jazz District. The celebration is from noon to 10 p.m. on Saturday.
At the Juneteenth celebration, you can discover live performances, food, pony rides, giveaways and a kid's zone.

Kansas City Monster Jam at Arrowhead
Experience big-time household fun at Monster Jam this weekend at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday. The enjoyable begins at the Monster Jam Pit Party held in
Kansas City on Saturday.
Fans can see the massive trucks up close, meet their favorite motorists and teams, get autographs, and take photos. Activities include the Sand Box play area, inflatable slides, Spin Master push-button control truck course, coloring and short-term tattoo station, and photo ops, including the chance to take a picture with the Series trophy.

Odessa Chamber of Commerce Rodeo
The Odessa Chamber of Commerce Rodeo started in 1988 and is returning this weekend. The rodeo is on Friday and Saturday night. The Odessa Chamber of Commerce Rodeo is a terrific occasion for the whole family.
Adult tickets in advance are $10, they are $15 if they're purchased on the day of the rodeo. Kids tickets for ages 4 to 12 are $5 in advance.
The disconcerting fentanyl epidemic has inspired an annual Fighting Fentanyl 5K run/walk to help educate and spread awareness to the
Kansas City neighborhood. This is the 3rd annual Fighting Fentanyl 5K Run/Walk.
The run is at Mill Valley High School on Saturday morning. The Kids Fun Run starts at 8 a.m. and the 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. Click here for more information.
Previous Chiefs linebacker Darius Harris football camp
Kansas City Chiefs linebacker and three-time Super Bowl Champion, Darius Harris, is giving back to local kids with a free youth football camp.
Harris will host the camp on Saturday at University Academy, situated at 6801 Holmes Road in
Kansas City, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The totally free camp is open to kids between the ages of 7-14, despite their football experience.

Louisburg Fishing Derby
The occasion is constantly the Saturday before Father's Day each June from 7 to 10 a.m. at Ron Weers Park at City Lake. The Fishing Derby is sponsored by the City of Louisburg.
There will be rewards for the most fish caught, the biggest fish and the most inches caught. You can also get a complimentary hotdog and chips after the derby. The occasion is free. Ensure to bring a pole and bucket with you!
Breakaway Music Festival
Prepare for the breakaway music celebration this weekend. It's at Azura Amphitheater in Bonner Springs. Headliners are "Tiesto" and "Two Friends" on Friday, and "Dom dolla" with "Slander" on Saturday night.
Doors open at 5 p.m. You can still get your tickets. They cost around $94 for general admission.
Wanda Sykes at the Music Hall
Comedian and starlet, Wanda Sykes remains in town this weekend! She's known for her roles in "The New Adventures of Old Christine" and "Monster-in-Law.".
She'll be at the Music Hall on Saturday. Her "Please and Thank You" program begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are still offered for $45.

Last weekend of Painted Garden
The 3rd annual Painted Gardens exhibit ends this weekend at Powell Gardens. Head to the gardens in Kingsville to check out the flowers and glass art from local artists. Sculptures are sprayed all throughout the gardens.
Inside the visitors center, you can check out displays from artist Kate Clements called "Super Natural." This is the last weekend for the painted gardens.
