Triple-digit temperatures recorded from Bay Area to Sacramento Valley

(FOX40.COM) - - Another wave of warm weather condition blasted Northern California and not even the cool Bay Location breeze might fight the heat, according to the National Weather Service.

Tuesday was anticipated to be the hottest day of the week for much of Northern California, with temperature levels to peak at 103 degrees in Sacramento and 106 degrees in Redding.

The NWS's last numbers for Tuesday discovered that the City of Sacramento reached an optimum temperature of 104 degrees.

Additional north, Red Bluff also topped forecasted highs with 107 degrees being measured through 5 p.m., according to the NWS.

The East Bay city of Vallejo nearly reached triple digits as temperatures skyrocketed to 98 degrees.

Temperatures are expected to dip down simply a little on Wednesday as the Delta breeze will begin to push a few of that hot air out of the Valley.

Those living north of Sutter County towards Redding ought to continue to seek a/c and remain hydrated throughout the most popular parts of the day as there is still an excessive heat warning in impact.
