Troubleshooting Phone System Problems at Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility

Breaking Now News: Technical Difficulties with Inmate Phone System at Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility

Officials at the Southern New Mexico Correctional Facility are currently addressing technical issues with the inmate phone system that occurred on Friday. The facility, located in Doña Ana County near Las Cruces, houses Levels 2, 3, and 4 inmates and was established in the 1980s.

In addition to standard cell blocks, the facility also features a Restrictive Housing Unit (RHU) and offers inmates educational and reprogramming opportunities to aid in their rehabilitation.

SNMCF has assured that they are actively working on restoring service to the inmate phone system and will provide updates once the phones are operational. Stay tuned for further developments on this story, both on-air and online.
