The occasion is a partnership between several entities within the Davis area, consisting of the UC Davis Fire Department, UC Davis Athletics, and UC Davis Housing and Dining Services.

" Let's pay tribute together," the UC Davis Police Department said in a social networks post.

The event begins at 7:15 a.m., and registration can be finished here. Restricted T-shirts will be available for those who register late. The arena will be available up until 11:30 a.m. for those who show up late.

A $20 per individual fee, which includes a celebratory T-shirt and a meal, will be needed to sign up for the memorial. Individuals are motivated to wear their company's particular uniforms (bunker gear, patrol uniforms, etc).
