US Marshals arrest guy accused of firing shots on highway, leading cops chase

CLEVELAND (BNN) – – U.S. Marshals arrested a guy implicated of shooting shots on the highway and leading Euclid cops on a high-speed chase previously this month.

Officers detained 18-year-old Jerome Curry in Cleveland. He was desired by the Euclid Police Department for shooting into a habitation and leaving.

On March 12, Euclid law enforcement officer were contacted us to a reported drive-by shooting at a home on Gay Street just before 4:30 a.m

. According to authorities, when officers got there, the chauffeur removed at a high speed, leading to a nearly 20-minute pursuit.

In video released to the BNN I-Team, officers on the scene were heard stating the suspect was "still shooting" and "shooting at other cars on the highway.".

" It's exceptionally dangerous and frightening that someone would do this," Meyer informed the I-Team a couple weeks earlier. "We can confirm a minimum of one gunshot from the suspect automobile while on 90 and it appears he may have been upset that the driver in a red cars and truck beside him wasn't moving out of the method quickly enough for him.".

According to investigators, the chase ended in a crash in Willoughby Hills, however the suspect ran from the scene.

The suspect was identified as Curry, who was called the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force's Fugitive of the Week. He was thought about "dangerous and armed.".

The task force discovered Curry in the 2000 block of West 104th Street in Cleveland. He was nabbed.
