" If we would have had the tools paid for to us in the constitution without having guidelines keeping us from the argument going, the expense would have never ever made it through," Lynch informed "Colorado Point of View" host Matt Mauro this week.

Gov. Jared Polis and those who support the expense stated it will provide much-needed real estate tax relief while making sure local services are not hurt and also put more cash toward education.

" The last two sessions, we have advanced real estate tax decreases for Coloradans, but we felt like it was time to invest our energy into a longer-term service," McCluskie said.

Mauro also talked about the bill and other topics in Colorado politics with analysts Andy Boian and Michael Fields on "Colorado Point of View."
