Employee hurt after cars and truck smashed into regional Hamburger King, cops state


SOLON, Ohio-- An employee was hurt after a car slammed into a regional Burger King Sunday afternoon, cops confirmed Tuesday.

Solon cops and other emergency crews were contacted us to the restaurant on Aurora Road around 1 p.m. after a sedan went through a wall.

The female driving the Lexus was supposedly coming out of the automobile wash across the parking lot when she hit the accelerator instead of the brake and continued going deep into the Burger King structure, cops said.

The 47-year-old chauffeur was not hurt in the crash however was cited with failure to control, police stated. The vehicle was pulled away.

Debris falling hurt an 18-year-old staff member's legs and she was taken to Hillcrest Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, cops said.

As seen in the above photos, the building was substantially harmed.
