. An individual, thought to be a teen, is recovering Thursday after being shot on the 10 Freeway in East Los Angeles late Wednesday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP found out of the shooting around 11 p.m. It was believed to have occurred in the eastbound lanes of the 10 near the 710 and 60 highway shifts.

The victim was carried to a local healthcare facility by a private vehicle before being transported to Keck Medicine of USC by ambulance. The condition of the victim was not instantly clear Thursday morning.

The victim's truck, a white Ram pickup, had visible bullet holes at the scene.

The shooting stayed under examination on Thursday. Up until now, a suspect has actually not yet been determined.
